I really need to stop this company from sticking to the real every day consumers

  1. Hi, I got cheated by HNG as well. Good news is I found there is a Vehicle Sales Authority in charge of supervising these auto dealers. If any dealer really did things bad often and got complained to this Authority, the Authority can shut them down.
    Please check this out: http://www.vehiclesalesauthority.com/

Contact the Autority please, they will send you a form to fill out for your complaint. I'm filling the form now. Hope you could do the same. Even you didn't have any supporting documents since your case is 2 years ago, I still hope you go ahead to complain. At least to let the Autority know this HNG has been cheating a lot.

    Thanks.

  2. i called to inquire about car and was told the car had an accident and only had a slight hit on the passenger side door. when i went to check out the car, he then told me the car was stolen, deemed to be a rebuilt by icbc, build from salvage, no history of the accident, etc. i checked the car and noticed that it wasn't the passenger that got hit but the driver side and the front. these areas were repainted (badly) that's why i could tell it was the driver side and front. very dishonest business practice...

  3. Hey, I just bought a vehicle from HNG and just like Eminh83 said, pretty much the same thing happened to me, only I didn't notice the shitty paint job until the day after I bought it... shitty on me for trusting people I guess. None the less, the salesman told me the damage was only to the back of the vehicle. I asked him over and over again if that was all (because I noticed the roof rack seemed a little dented, and the interior roof material was creased). He guaranteed me (by word) it was only the back. The day after purchase, when I noticed the dodgy paint job on the OTHER side, I called him, and he said he showed me pictures of all the damage. NO he did not show me any pictures! This was the first I heard about this. I asked him to send them to me, and when he did, funny thing was the area he said was damaged was not damaged AT ALL. The front and driver side of the vehicle was damaged. I called him up and he then lied to me saying he ever said it was the back of the vehicle! WTF! Why he lied to me I will probly never know. I am going to get it all inspected by a friend of mine, but I will never be so naive again, trusting someone like this. People can have no hearts. A business like this deserves to be ripped to the ground and charged for scamming. And if that can't happen, I just hope these blog posts can help warn the next person before they make the same mistake I did.

  4. We purchased a Corolla from HNG last year, and my story is almost identical to Kayla's. We were told it had been in a fender bender, rear ended and the damage was minimal. Come to find out when we went to trade it in that this was completely untrue. The damage was much more extensive according to a dealership we just tried to trade it in to, it's worth less than half of what we paid for it as a result. I'll be contacting VSA and filing a complaint.

    1. Interested to know how you are progressing Bradley. We are about to start proceeding against this company as well.

    2. We had the car inspected for structural integrity today and alignment yesterday. It failed....badly. we're getting an estimate on repairs, so far they're saying up to $8500 not including the new axle as the rear axle is bent. The VSA is on the case and am I ever glad we filed a complaint! What upsets me the most is that I've been driving my daughters around in that car for 2 years now. If we'd had an accident I don't even want to think what may have happened. We're taking it off the road.

    3. So as it turns out, the cost to repair the car is close to 13,000 bucks. It would have to be torn down to the frame, the frame is bent as is the rear axle, rebuilt. It's more than the car is worth. They assured us they had it inspected and passed after it had sustained "minor damage" before we bought it. It was major damage, the quotes to repair went in to the VSA, they've brought it to HNG and I'm expecting a call today with an offer to buy the car back. First offer was less than half of what we paid for it 2 years ago. They put my family's lives at risk in a car that had we been in an accident would not have performed as it was designed to. If they're going to keep jerking us around then I'd say it's time to get a lawyer.

  5. Hey there i got scamed too. My story is more about safety requirements from the dealership before a sale.
My car had been in an accident. Until then ok. But the problem is that the whole engine is not straight anymore. Which makes the componments rubbing onto each other. One day, my drive shaft just snapped.... Found out right after i do not have a front bumper either. Front bumper has been cut but never replaced.
That means I ve lost my stearing while driving and did not have a front bumper in case of accident. I m really glad I am able to talk about it today.
I did call the dealership many times and their answer was : we only do minimal safety requirements like wipers (????!!!)
Of course, I wrote a complaint to vsa. Of course I feel dumb for buying that car. But this is over the regular scam, this could have killed me.
Beside the fact i ve lost money, i really hope hng autosales gets shut down.
